About The Farm

Aspen East Stables is home to our Therapeutic healing team of horses. Additionally, we offer grounds rental for horse shows/clinics and other events. The farm also affiliates to host shows with VHSA. We are situated on 15 acres, just off of Route 15 in beautiful Jericho, Vermont. We maintain an outdoor riding ring, indoor arena, and bridle path around the property.

Jessica Clements of Empire Equestrians uses Aspen East Stables as her home base, and offers lessons from beginner to advanced equitation. Please see her bio on this page, and the link to her riding programs, where you can contact her directly to inquire and schedule.

Aspen East was established in 2022. The farm was purchased to offer equine facilitated healing opportunities and experiences. We are proud to donate use of our facility for the use of VT 4H, and to act as a center for growing the equine community.

Who We Are

Meet the team in charge of Aspen East Stables and its Equine Healing Program.

  • Owner, and Head of the Equine Healing Program

Jessica has been involved with horses since childhood. She graduated SUNY Delhi, in NY in 1999, with an AAS in veterinary technology and went on to become a NYS licensed Veterinary Technician. Later in life she transitioned to working with at risk teens and families to help get kids on track for lifetime success with the Liberty Partnership Program of NY. After years of on-the-job experience Jessica decided it was time to expand on her skills and completed formal training earning a BA and MA in psychology/counseling psychology, from Johnson State College in Vermont (now known as Northern Vermont College). In the course of her career Jessica has held positions as an Emergency Crisis Clinician, Hospital Diversion Clinician, Therapist, Clinical Director of the Howard Center Chittenden Clinic, and as the Regional Partnership Program Manager for Lund/DCF. Currently Jessica consults and keeps a small private therapy practice. In her time in the field, Jessica has worked extensively with a range of challenges, and a thread that frequently surfaces is trauma. Merging her passion for horses and healing is the culmination of decades of work/training and planning.

  • Jessica Joined our team in 2024 and we are grateful to her program Empire Equestrian llc, for choosing to call Aspen East Home. Jessica has been riding for the past 17 years, and has turned her passion into a successful schooling program. Join her here for Lessons, Camps, Clinics, and More!
